IrelandStudyVisa.com is an independent information and advisory platform for Bangladeshi students planning to study in Ireland. We are not the Government of Ireland, Immigration Service Delivery, or any university admissions office.
What we collect
When you use a form on this site (contact, profile assessment, or an institution application), we may store:
- Name, email, phone or WhatsApp number
- Academic, English-test, funding and passport-readiness answers you type in
- The page you sent the form from, and the date and time
- Your consent choice and the version of this notice you saw
We also store a theme preference in your browser, and may store an assessment draft in local storage so you can continue later on the same device.
Why we use it
We use this information to reply to you, prepare a study checklist, follow up on an application enquiry, and keep a record of what you asked us to do. We do not sell student data.
Where it is stored
Form submissions and leads are stored in our hosted database (Supabase). Access is limited to authorised staff. You should not upload original passport scans or bank statements through public forms unless a staff member has given you a private upload link.
Sharing
We share information with an institution only when you ask us to submit or support an application. We may use email or messaging tools to contact you on the number or address you gave. Official visa decisions are made by Irish authorities, not by us.
Retention and your rights
We keep enquiry records while we are actively helping you, and for a reasonable period afterwards so we can answer follow-up questions. Email the contact form to request a copy, a correction, or deletion of the personal data we hold about you.
This notice describes our current practice. It is not a substitute for advice from a solicitor.
